Bunny Dash

I am feeling like spring is finally here.  This morning I ran a 5k race called the Bunny Dash, and I had signed up Nolan to run a 100 yard Easter Egg Dash.  He was super excited to have his number pinned to the back of his jacket.  He ran his heart out to collect Easter Eggs with a few hundred other children it was really very cute.

At the end of the race their was a petting zoo for the kids.  This was by far Nolan's favorite part.  He loved it. He was able to go right up to the animals and pet them, and feed them.  I would say his favorite was the baby pig.  He named him Wilbur(our boy just watched Charlotte's Web.)

"The Perfect Picture"

I have been working hard at trying to get my two littles to sit together for "that perfect picture."  And I was getting frustrated that Nolan wouldn't hold Avery, and I couldn't get them both to smile together, and the list of the just not "right" picture continues. Well, this morning I was taking their pictures, and I had an"ah hah" moment.

The reality is my "not so perfect" photos, are the REAL ones.  The ones that capture my family at this moment the best.  And I absolutely LOVE my littles, and my family.  Of course I had to capture my other child, "Wrigley" in the mix too.  So here are my flickers....hope you laugh and enjoy as much as I did taking them.

Adventures in BOWLING!

Today we met my friend Lisa at Pinstripes Bowling Alley.  I went to nursing school with Lisa at Rockford College.  She has two children, Maddie and Brennan--so we took the kids bowling.  They all had a great time, but Nolan LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it!  Here are some pictures from our adventure.  I certainly LOVE all of the memories Nolan and I create together.  It is so much fun to watch him interact with others, and his excitement with the activities.  I Love my little man so much.
