Visit to the Chicago Children's Museum

Yesterday Todd and his parents took Nolan to the Chicago Children's Museum at Navy Pier.  I unfortunately had to work so I missed out on all the fun!  I know Nolan had FUN with his Daddy and his Grandparents!

My baby looks so grown UP!  I can't believe he will be two years old in three weeks.

No Surprise--Nolan's favorite thing--
Playing in the WATER with the boats!

Our Trip To Lake Geneva

Since Todd and I just celebrated our 4th year anniversary, we thought it would be nice to get away as a family for the weekend.  We went up to Lake Geneva, WI.

We walked on the beach, and into the cute little shops.

We stayed at the Abbey Resort and Spa in Fontana, WI and Nolan enjoyed wandering around the marina.  He liked chasing the ducks and pointing at the boats.

But Nolan's favorite part of the trip was swimming in the pool.  He called it a "Bath."  He swam three times in 12 hours and had a blast!!

I am certainly glad we got to have a little getaway, and think we need to do that more often.

Happy Easter!

Nolan was certainly excited about Easter this year!  He loved the "Easter Eggs," and he liked seeing what was in the Easter basket, and in the Easter Eggs around the house.

Wrigley enjoyed Easter too, since she shared the treats inside the Easter Eggs.

We went outside and colored with "Egg" chalk!~
We then spent the afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa Hassman's.  Aunt Joyce, Uncle Pat, Aunt Sue, and cousins Sharon, Karen and Brad were also at the festivities.

Nolan had a wonderful time playing outside with his family!

Easter Egg Painting!

Today we painted Easter Eggs with the neighbors.  All I can say is Nolan had so much FUN, and I think he had fun because it was MESSY.  He didn't quite get the concept of being gentle with the Easter Eggs, so he would just plop them in the colored water--and it would go SPLASH everywhere.  Luckily we only lost one egg to the toddler's hands.

Needless to say we needed a bath after this event--he had the egg coloring all over his arms, face, neck!
But he had FUN and that is all that matters.
