Trick or Treating Fun

We started out trick or treating with Grandma Hassman and Avery, Nolan was shy at each door and wasn't really enjoying it, he was ready to go home and hand out candy. But then we found his favorite neighbors and joined in with them for trick or treating.  This made all the difference, he loves to play with the older girls down the block, so hanging out with the girls for Halloween was quite a treat for him.  He had a wonderful time, and ran from house to house!

Nolan's Halloween Party!

Happy Halloween Everyone!  Today was Nolan's Halloween party at school, and I got to partake, a special treat being room mom for his classroom.  The kids were adorable in their costumes.  They had a parade and song session in the courtyard for all the parents, and then went to the classroom for some more Halloween Fun!

Halloween Park District Fun!

This morning we went to the Palatine Park District Halloween Party.  Nolan enjoyed all the games, and both Avery and Nolan loved the kiddie room with little slides and things to crawl through.

My Lion and LadyBug!

This year Nolan decided he wanted to be a Lion for Halloween.  What a big change from last year, we couldn't keep the costume off of him the week before Halloween.  He makes a super cute Lion.  As he says he is very "scary and likes to ROAR!"

Fall Fun

I took Nolan and Avery to Crabtree Nature Center.  Nolan enjoyed playing in the leaves, and I took lots of pictures of Avery!

We had a great day at Goebbert's!  We enjoyed a movie, a hayride, petting zoo fun, and a corn maze with his classmates.
